Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semolina Rawa
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 Carrot grated
  • 1 Onion grated
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 Green Chilli finely chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp Coriander Leaves finely chopped
  • Refined oil - as required for roasting pancake
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  • Combine semolina curd in a bowl and mix well, add ¾ cup of water. Mix well. Cover and keep aside for 30-40 minutes.
  • Now add carrot, onion, green chillies, ginger paste, coriander leaves and salt to the rawa mixture. Mix nicely.
  • Check the consistency of the batter, add little water if required.
  • Heat a nonstick tawa. Once tawa is hot, drizzle ½ tsp oil. With help of napkin paper or cotton cloth spread the oil all around evenly.
  • Pour 1 big spoonful of batter, spread the batter in round shape (it will be little thick due to veggies) on the tawa.
  • Cover the pancake and let it cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
  • Check whether it has turned golden brown from beneath.
  • If it is cooked from the bottom side, flip the side and cook from other side as well for 2-3 minutes or until it gets golden brown from this side too.
  • Take out the roasted pancake in a plate. Likewise prepare all pancakes.
  • Finally serve rawa pancake with green coriander chutney, tomato sauce, coconut chutney or peanut chutney.
