Thandai

Thandai is also called Shardai. It is a milk-based drink made during summers and especially at Indian festivals like Maha Shivratri and Holi. This drink is consumed mainly in the Northern part of India.

This delicious and cooling drink is very nutritious and healthy. It is served chilled, decorated with rose petals and pistachios. Do try this recipe this season & relish it!

Thandai

Ingredients (2 glass)

  • Thandai Concentrate – 4 tbsp
  • Chilled Milk – 400 ml
  • Ice cubes – 8
  • Pistachios – 4 (finely chopped)
  • Dried Rose petals – 8 (crushed)

Method

  1. In a blender, add the concentrate, chilled milk, 4 ice cubes.
  2. Blend for a minute.
  3. In glasses, add ice cubes, pour the mixture.
  4. Sprinkle chopped Pistachios, crushed Rose petals on top.
  5. Serve chilled !!!

NOTE: Can reduce or increase the quantity of concentrate, as per your sweet tooth 😀

  • Blend for a minute.
  • In glasses, add ice cubes, pour the mixture.
  • Sprinkle chopped Pistachios, crushed Rose petals on top.
  • Serve chilled !!!

Notes
