Stir Fried Broccoli with Mushroom

Stir Fried Broccoli with Mushroom is a very healthy dish. Broccoli is a good source of Vitamin C, Calcium, folate. It is rich in fibre also. It boosts immune system, helps in bone growth, constipation, obesity, heart disease , etc.
Button mushrooms are good source of Riboflavin, Naicin, Potassium, Vitamin B. It contains no fat or cholesterol.

Stir fried broccoli with Mushroom

Ingredients (4-5 servings)

  • Broccoli florets – 1¼ cups
  • Broccoli stalks – ¾ cup (sliced)
  • Mushrooms – 2 cups (sliced)
  • Moong sprouts – 2½ cups
  • Garlic – 4 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Dried thyme – 1½ tsp
  • Olive Oil – 2½ tsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tsp
  • Salt – to taste

Method

  1. Blanch broccoli florets, broccoli stalks and mushrooms in boiling water for 30-45 seconds. Drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non stick pan, add garlic and saute for few seconds.
  3. Add blanched broccoli, mushroom, sprouts and salt, saute for another 5-6 minutes.
  4. Add thyme and soya sauce .
  5. Stir Fried Broccoli with Mushroom is ready.
  6. Serve hot.
