Stir Fried Broccoli with Mushroom is a very healthy dish. Broccoli is a good source of Vitamin C, Calcium, folate. It is rich in fibre also. It boosts immune system, helps in bone growth, constipation, obesity, heart disease , etc.
Button mushrooms are good source of Riboflavin, Naicin, Potassium, Vitamin B. It contains no fat or cholesterol.
Ingredients (4-5 servings)
- Broccoli florets – 1¼ cups
- Broccoli stalks – ¾ cup (sliced)
- Mushrooms – 2 cups (sliced)
- Moong sprouts – 2½ cups
- Garlic – 4 cloves (finely chopped)
- Dried thyme – 1½ tsp
- Olive Oil – 2½ tsp
- Soya sauce – 2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method
- Blanch broccoli florets, broccoli stalks and mushrooms in boiling water for 30-45 seconds. Drain and keep aside.
- Heat olive oil in a non stick pan, add garlic and saute for few seconds.
- Add blanched broccoli, mushroom, sprouts and salt, saute for another 5-6 minutes.
- Add thyme and soya sauce .
- Stir Fried Broccoli with Mushroom is ready.
- Serve hot.
