Phalse ka Sharbat

Phalse ka sharbat is prepared from the fruit pulp by mixing it with sugar, this gives cooling effect to the stomach. This is also good for heart, blood disorders, rheumatism, arthritis, fever, diarrhea and also acts as anti-cancer agent. The fruit is also good for throat.

Ingredients(5-6 servings)

  • Phalse – 250 gms
  • Sugar – 4 tbsp
  • Rock salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon – 1
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. Wash phalse and soak them in 1 cup of water for an hour.
  2. Now put phalse in the mixer jar, add sugar and turn on the mixer slightly. This way pulp will leave the seeds.
  3. Now add 2 cups of chilled water in the pulp, and turn on the mixer once again for a minute. Once done, take it out of the mixer, sieve it and add salt & lemon juice to it.
  4. Pour the juice into a glass and add some ice cubes.
  5. Phalse ka Sharbat is ready to serve.
  6. Serve chilled.
