Paneer kasoori methi is a nice combination of creamy paneer tossed with dried methi leaves. Paneer kasoori methi sabzi is a delicious Indian recipe served as a Side Dish.
Ingredients (4 servings)
- Kasoori Methi – 40 gms
- Onion – 2 (chopped)
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Fresh Malai/ Cream – 4 tbsp
- Paneer – 400 gms (cut into small cubes)
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method
- Clean methi, remove stalks. Wash in plenty of water and soak in water for at least 1 hour.
- Now squeeze to remove water.
- Fry paneer cubes to a golden brown colour in hot oil and keep aside.
- Heat oil, fry onion till translucent, add methi and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, malai and mix well.
- Cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Add paneer, mix well.
- Serve hot with naan or paratha.
