Masaledaar potato wedges is a delicious Indian recipe served as a side dish or appetizer. Fried potatoes are tossed in spices and mint.
Ingredients(4 servings)
- Potatoes – 4 (cut into wedges)
- Oil – 1 tbsp + to deep fry
- Fresh Coriander Leaves – ½ cup
- Mint Leaves – 15-20
- Ginger – 1”
- Garlic – 5-6 cloves
- Red Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
Method
- Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the potato wedges on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.
- Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger and garlic with little water to a fine paste.
- Heat one tbsp of oil in a non-stick pan. Add the red chilli flakes and ground paste, mix well and sauté for three to four minutes. Add the fried potatoes, salt and lemon juice and cook for another two minutes.
- Masaledaar potato wedges are ready.
- Serve hot garnished with chilli flakes.
