Garlic Bread

Garlic bread is made from bread, topped with garlic and butter/olive oil topped with herbs such as oregano. Garlic bread is one of the easiest Italian dishes to make and is best paired with Pizza and Pasta dishes.

Historically, Garlic bread stems from bruschetta, which appeared in Italy around the 15th century.

This simple garlic bread recipe can be made in just 20 mins!!!

INGREDIENTS (12 slices)

  • French Loaf/ Garlic Bread Loaf – 1
  • Garlic – 12-15 cloves crushed
  • Britannia Cheezza – 1 cup grated
  • Butter – 4 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black Pepper – a pinch
  • Chilli Flakes – ¼ tsp
  • Oregano – ¼ tsp

INSTRUCTIONS 

  1. Preheat the oven at 220°C.
  2. Cut the loaf diagonally with ¾ inch thickness, spread butter on both the sides of the slices.
  3. In a bowl add grated cheezza, garlic, salt, black pepper, chilli flakes and oregano. Mix properly.
  4. Spread this cheezza mixture evenly on all the slices.
  5. Arrange the slices on the baking tray.
  6. Bake the slices at 220°C for 10 minutes or until golden in colour.
  7. Delicious garlic bread is ready to serve.
  8. Can be served with/without tomato sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French Loaf/ Garlic Bread Loaf
  • 5 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 cup Britannia Cheezza grated
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Chilli Flakes
  • ¼ tsp Oregano

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven at 220°C.

  • In a bowl add grated cheezza, garlic, salt, black pepper, chilli flakes and oregano. Mix properly.
  • Spread this cheezza mixture evenly on all the slices.
  • Arrange the slices on the baking tray.
  • Bake the slices at 220°C for 10 minutes or until golden in colour.
  • Delicious garlic bread is ready to serve.
  • Can be served with/without tomato sauce.
