Eggless atta cake is very easy to make and healthy too. Good for tea time or study breaks for kids.
Ingredients
- Whole Wheat Flour – 2 cups
- Sugar – 1¼ cups
- Baking Powder – ½ tbsp
- Baking Soda – 1½ tbsp
- Ghee – ¾ cup
- Curd – 1 cup
- Water – if required
- Nuts(walnuts,raisins,figs) – 2-3 tbsp
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
- Blend the curd and ghee together in a bowl.
- Then mix the dry ingredients one by one into this bowl and blend well.
- Bring it to dropping consistency, adding water as required.
- Grease the bottom of a baking dish, pour the batter in the dish and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes while checking at intervals.
- Cut and serve when cool.
