Eggless atta cake is very easy to make and healthy too. Good for tea time or study breaks for kids.

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Flour – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 1¼ cups
  • Baking Powder – ½ tbsp
  • Baking Soda – 1½ tbsp
  • Ghee – ¾ cup
  • Curd – 1 cup
  • Water – if required
  • Nuts(walnuts,raisins,figs) – 2-3 tbsp

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Blend the curd and ghee together in a bowl.
  3. Then mix the dry ingredients one by one into this bowl and blend well.
  4. Bring it to dropping consistency, adding water as required.
  5. Grease the bottom of a baking dish, pour the batter in the dish and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes while checking at intervals.
  6. Cut and serve when cool.
