Dates rolls is a heaithy sugar free dessert with dates, coconut, almonds and other nuts. Dates are naturally sweet and full of nutrients.
Ingredients(10-12 rolls)
- Seedless dates – 20(finely chopped)
- Desiccated coconut – 2-3 tbsp
- Milk – 5 tbsp
- Digestive biscuits – 9-10
- Vanilla essence – few drops
- Cashewnuts – 5-6(roasted & finely chopped)
- Walnuts – 6-7(roasted & finely chopped)
- Almonds – 5-6(roasted & finely chopped)
Method
- Add dates and milk in a non-stick pan, cover and cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes or till the dates are soft. Allow to cool down and mash, now refrigerate half an hour.
- Now add biscuits(crushed), vanilla essence, cashewnuts, almonds and walnuts and mix well. Divide into 8-10 equal portions and shape into finger like rolls.
- Spread the desiccated coconut evenly on a plate. Roll the dates rolls in the coconut .
- Your dates rolls are ready to serve.
