Banana fry is made of raw bananas which are healthy because they have all their vitamins whereas ripe bananas lose some of them. Raw banana’s do not have a strong banana flavor at all.
Ingredients( 6 serves)
- Raw Banana – 6
- Oil – for frying
- Dry Mango Powder – ½ tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – ¼ tsp
- Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method
- Peel the bananas and slice into long thin wedges or strips to make fries.
- Heat the oil in a kadai over medium-high heat. Place the bananas into the hot oil, and fry until golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Remove from the oil, and drain on absorbent paper towels. Pat off the excess oil.
- Season with salt, chilli powder, mango powder and chaat masala.
- Serve immediately.
NOTE:- During fast don’t use chaat masala & in place of salt use Sendha namak.
