Phirni

24th February 2016 By Nidhi Agrawal 2 Comments

Phirni is a very popular Indian milk pudding. It is made of full cream milk, fine grain basmati rice and sugar. You can add some nuts, saffron, rose water, cardamom powder in Phirni to enhance its flavour. The main difference between these two is that in Kheer whole rice is used and can be served chilled or warm or even hot, while in Phirni we use grounded rice and is served chilled.
