Chinese Crispy Corn

Crispy corn with a chinese style. This is an innovation in which crispy corn is made and tossed with onion, tomato, green chilli, spring onions and sauces.

Ingredients

  • American Corn – 1 cup (boiled)
  • Gram Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Corn Flour – 3 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
  • Onion – 1 (chopped)
  • Tomato – 1 (chopped)
  • Green Chillies – 2 (chopped)
  • Spring Onion – 3 tbsp (chopped)
  • Tomato Ketchup – 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Soya Sauce – ½ tsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Oil – 2 tbsp + for frying

Method

  1. In a bowl add corn, gram flour, corn flour, salt & red chilli powder & mix well.
  2. Now fry the corns in hot oil until they becomes crispy. Keep aside.
  3. Now heat 2 tbsp. oil in a pan & add onion, tomato, spring onion & green chillies & saute for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Mix the fried corns to it & add salt, soya sauce, vinegar & mix well.
  5. Add tomato ketchup & cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
