Cake’s Icing is a sugary mixture of cream and sugar, that is normally used to decorate cakes, pastries and cookies. Icing adds a nice look by colouring, decorating and flavouring to any baked item. General ingredients which are used in cake’s icing are cream, food colour, egg whites, icing sugar.
- Whipping Cream – 3 cups
- Icing Sugar – 6 tbsp
- Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
- Chill the bowl and whisk attachment of a hand mixer for 20 minutes in the refrigerator or 5-6 minutes in the freezer. Pour the cream into the bowl and whisk on medium-high speed until it just starts to thicken. Slow the speed down to medium and gradually pour in the sugar. Continue to whisk until soft peaks form.
- Add the vanilla essence and continue to whisk until the cream is smooth, and stiff peaks form ( the cream will stand up straight when the whisk is taken out).
- Icing is ready to decorate your cake.
NOTE:- For different flavours, you can use flavour related to your recipe instead of vanilla.
